Happy Republic is a fifteen minute short that chronicles the life of two young characters who share a past in the decrepit Republic of Usyria and serendipitously become partners in crime. The Republic, which is slowly descending towards bankruptcy has left its distraught inhabitants in a desperate struggle to survive. Many Usyrians end up dealing in the black market or escape to the bordering country. The
two characters Eva and Utkan are no exception.
